Even before he was President, I felt from having seen him up close and personal in San Beda that Rodrigo Roa Duterte is destined to be a great leader.
Because more than anything else, he has that very strong affinity, understanding and appreciation of the “common tao”. He knows very well what we all are aspiring.
And until this very day, I remember our very first Cabinet meeting where he [President Duterte] gave his remarkable marching order for all of us-- GIVE THE FILIPINO A COMFORTABLE LIFE.
