To Be 6 Again...

To Be 6 Again...

A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, watching his wife, who was looking at herself in the mirror.. Since her birthday was not
Far off he asked what she'd like to have for her birthday.

'I'd like to be six again', she replied, still looking in the mirror .

On the morning of her Birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Roller Coaster, everything there was.

Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down. He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake.

Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M's.
What a fabulous adventure!
Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted.

He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, 'Well Dear, what was it like being six again?'

Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed.
'I meant my dress size, you retard!!!!'

The moral of this story: Even when a man is listening, he is still gonna get it wrong.

In April, Maya Angelou was interviewed by Oprah on her 70+ birthday. Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older.
And, there on television, she said it was 'exciting...'
Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day.....like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist, first.

The audience laughed so hard they cried. She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words!

Maya Angelou said this:
'I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.'

'I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.'

'I've learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.'

'I've learned that making a 'living' is not the same thing as making a life.'

'I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.'

'I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw some things back...'

One day at Philippine Embassy Singapore.
Halos lahat ng places dito mapa- HDB, condo o landed .. May chance kang di mabasa pg-umulan kasi may mga covered walks naman. Ganyan ka love ng Singapore ang residents nila dito.
Dito sa Philippine Embassy sa Singapore, wala kang choice kung di eenjoy ang tulo ng ulan. Kahit nakaupo ka na, akala mo masaya ka na? Di noh. Basa ka!

HUGE Sinkhole in Philippines Found

I received this email from a friend in Aussie right after I posted a link about the Guatemala sinkhole.

8 Amazing Holes!
These holes are not only amazing, but some of these are really terrifying - especially #8! The sheer scale of these holes reminds you of just how tiny you are.
 


1. Kimberley Big Hole , South Africa

 Apparently the largest ever hand-dug excavation in the world,
this 1097 meter deep mine yielded over 3 tons of diamonds
before being closed in 1914.
 


2. Glory Hole , Monticello Dam, CA 

A glory hole is used when a dam is at full capacity and water needs to be drained from the reservoir.

 
This is the 'Glory Hole' at Monticello dam,
and it's the largest in the world of this type
of spillway, its size enabling it to consume
14,400 cubic feet of water every second.
 

3. Bingham Canyon Mine, Utah

 This is supposedly the largest man-made
excavation on earth. Extraction began in 1863 and still continues today, the pit is increasing in size constantly. In its current state the hole is

75 miles deep and 2.5 miles wide.
 


4. Great Blue Hole , Belize
  This incredible geographical phenomenon known as a
blue hole is situated 60 miles off the mainland of Belize 
There are numerous blue holes around the world,
but none as stunning as this one.
 


5. Mirny Diamond Mine , Serbia
 
I'm pretty sure most people have seen this one.
It's an absolute beast and holds the title of largest
open diamond mines in the world. A t 525 meters
deep, with a top diameter of 1200 meters, there's
even a no-fly zone above the hole due to a few 
helicopters having been sucked in.


6. Diavik Mine , Canada
 

 
 
The mine is so huge and the area so remote
that it has its own airport with a runway large
enough to accommodate a Boeing 737.
It looks equally cool when the surrounding
water is frozen.
 

7. Sinkhole in Guatemala
 
These photos are of a sinkhole that occurred
early this year in Guatemala . The hole swallowed
a dozen homes and killed at least 3 people..
 

8. And the really terrifying one?
 
This is the famous Malacanang Palace 'Rat Hole' that you have heard about where there are many A_ _holes. It is capable of swallowing trillions and trillions of Pesos... Annually! Never to be heard from again.
